Initial process understanding

When you reach out to our office, we begin by gathering all the necessary information about your project and conducting a thorough review of your plans.  Our team then performs a detailed site investigation to understand the unique characteristics of your location and identify any potential permitting challenges.  Based on this comprehensive assessment, we determine the specific permits required for your project and develop a clear plan for navigating the approval process. 

We will then invite you for a free initial meeting to discuss your project vision, including design goals, budget, and style preferences. We'll also provide insights into potential permit requirements and our tailored services.

We will prepare your detailed fee proposal based on the design brief meeting and specific permit requirements. On acceptance, we will send you our Project Commencement Payment (PCP) invoice along with a Provision of Service agreement.  Once these items have been actioned, we will schedule your proposal for commencement. 

 This phase focuses on understanding your site inside and out.  We start with a detailed site analysis, incorporating survey data and any relevant information on zoning, utilities, and environmental factors. This helps us identify potential constraints and opportunities early on.

Next, we'll meet with you to dive deep into your design vision. Bring your ideas, inspiration images, and wish lists! We encourage open communication and collaboration to ensure we capture your dream perfectly.

To complete this crucial pre-design stage, we'll conduct a thorough site visit to assess existing conditions and explore the full potential of your property.

With a deep understanding of your vision and site, our design team starts crafting your dream space. We translate your brief into tangible concepts, exploring architectural ideas and spatial planning through sketches and models. This collaborative process ensures your input is central to every design decision.

As we refine the design, we may involve specialised consultants like town planners, arborists, or engineers to ensure a seamless and compliant project. We'll keep you informed and involved every step of the way, working together to achieve a design that exceeds your expectations.
